CalHFA Borrower Eligibility

• U.S. citizen, permanent resident alien or qualified alien
• First-time homebuyer
  *In certain targeted areas this requirement can be waived
• Primary residence only
• Income cannot exceed certain limits for the county in which the borrower is purchasing
• Meet normal credit, income and loan requirements
• Each county has their own maximum loan limit
